Lifetree Café is an hour-long interactive experience that features real people’s real stories on film, guided conversation, biblical insights, and time to build relationships.
Lifetree Café tackles the topics that most people deal with—topics about the big (and little) stuff that shapes our lives. Family. Friends. Fears. Busyness. Balance. Money. Materialism. Health. Heaven. Peace. Purpose.
What’s a conversation café?
It’s a place where rich conversation is served up every week. At Lifetree Café you’re encouraged to share your own stories and listen to others. But if you don’t feel like talking that’s okay, too. You’re welcome just as you are.
Lifetree Café discussion groups are hosted in a variety of venues such as coffeehouses, cafés, pubs, restaurants, community centers, and churches.
Lifetree’s motto is “Doing Life. Doing Good.”
Each week, people who visit Lifetree Cafés across the country dive into compelling conversations on topics related to life and faith. Through these weekly experiences, Lifetree participants discover a sense of community as they share, grow, and “Do Life” together.
Part of the Lifetree experience is "Doing Good"—joining in hands-on service opportunities that help the communities where Lifetree Cafés are located. We call these opportunities “Out-on-a-Limb” projects because they often stretch us, taking us outside our comfort zones.
One of our sister organizations, Lifetree Adventures, provides one-of-a-kind opportunities to serve internationally. That’s going way out on a limb!
Lifetree Adventures has partnered with strong local grassroots ministries in the areas where they serve. These ministries are focused on meeting the needs of the elderly, low income, disabled, and others in need.
Lifetree Adventures takes care of all the details including transportation, lodging, food, and even translators. All you have to do is come with a heart to serve.
